Below are answers to the most frequently asked service requests that the Kamloops Computer Centre service department receives.
There are three issues that we deal with everyday: installing critical updates, keeping anti-virus software up-to-date and removing advertising programs / spyware.

- 2) Free Online Virus Scanners

- 3) Spyware / Malware / Advertising software
- If you remove advertisement software with the programs listed below, you may not be allowed to continue using the host program.

Removal Programs
Go to http://www.download.com
Search on Ad-aware. Click on Download Now and save / install the Ad-Aware (currently Ad-aware 6.0 build 181)
Start the program. Click on Check for Updates now. Run the scan to check for spyware and remove found items.
